This is an 80's inspired look, - a bit Robert Palmer. The modern twist comes in graduating the metallics, and blending them skillfully.
High shimmer pigments like these use here are best applied with a small amount of cream, eye base or Vaseline on the lid. It helps the shimmer to stick without falling onto your cheeks, and aids blending!
The 80's was the decade of countouring - with sharply defined cheekbones, angular jaws and noses. Ive been heavier than usual with the contouring in this picture - it takes confidence to carry.
