Bridal - Semi Dramatic Eyes

When choosing a make-up look, its important to choose one, at most two areas of emphasis.

For bridal make-up, I love to make eyes the emphasis. I trial this look on most people and they love it - it can be varied by using liquid eyeliner, kohl, or eyeshadow with a liner brush - to give varying degrees of 'precision' from a highly polished, through to softer eyes.


On my face in this picture Ive applied some very subtle face contouring, a soft pinky/peach on the lips and cheeks, with semi-dramatic eyeshadow. The eyes use a combination of browns and creams shaded to emphasise the eye socket to make the eyes 'pop', and using gel liner to further draw emphasis to the eyes.

The overall effect is a soft look through the rest of the face that draws attention to the eyes making them look larger and wider set.
